Now available at Traxsource!

Artist: Sy Sez feat. Phoenix Pearle
Title: Send Me High
Format: Digital Single
Release Date: 13th October 2014

1. Sy Sez Main Mix
2. Sy Sez Dub Mix
3. Kaytronik’s Hydro Mix
4. Kaytronik’s Hydromental Mix
5. Sy & YoungHead Demo Vibe Mix

Sy Sez has been steadily building his reputation as a DJ, producer and radio presenter on the soul and house scene for the last few years – with releases on labels including Defected, Mn2s and Ministry of Sound.

“Send Me High” sees Sy step back from the four to the floor house style to provide a delicious mid-tempo soul burner featuring Phoenix Pearle on vocals and hotly tipped newcomer Henry Wu on keys. The result is modern UK soul at it’s best.

Sy’s Dub strips away the vocal and let’s Henry loose on the keys for the full dubbed out London vibe.

If that wasn’t enough, Karizma slips into his Kaytronik mode on the Hydro Mix to provide a full electronic workout, complete with signature rugged beats and funked-up groove that will burn a hole in any dance-floor. The Hydromental Mix is also included for those that want to keep riding that groove.

Finally, we also include the Original Demo mix – highlighting the song’s original dub-soul-house feeling to complete the package.

His first 20 years of being a D.J/ Producer have been nothing short of incredible. Releasing originals, remixes, Albums and Mix comps on cutting edge labels such as, Ovum, Dessous, ALola, Definity, Large, Seamless, I records, MN2’s, Acryl and dozens of others, as well as his own underground Recline imprint, he’s made his mark in the deep tech world and then some.

Pete has delivered a hand’s in the air summer anthem. Pete always a master of working a vocal sample has delivered once again. The infectious hook will stick in your head and drive any dance floor crazy. The track ebbs and flows building to a perfect climax.

On the B side we have enlisted the legendary Karizma for the remix duties. K has taken a different twist on the track bring that classic Baltimore funk. Things get a little grittier with chunkier beats, beefier bass and and a funked up keyboard line. He has kept elements of the original but givenit that Karizma twist. What you have are two diverse mixes that should find their way into a diverse mix of DJ’s play lists.

Rhythm Karizma’s Kaytronik Wiv’em Remix

Available in Digital at Traxsource!

Release Date: 02.10.2013

Available in Digital at Traxsource Vinyl at

Will Saul & October / Karizma Remixes) first single of the forthcoming album ‘Music Over Matter’. Deetron calls on the beautifully smooth vocal talents of Ben Westbeech which produces the perfect melody-drenched house track.
Asked to describe his music to a new listener one might falter. While it’s true that there is a very specific sound at the core of his music, it is the fluid nature of Deetron’s work that defines him as an artist. Yet there is one word that can be used to sum up this dynamic musical mind and the polymorphic sounds that he has mastered – Maverick.

His second album “Music Over Matter”, which will be released on Music Man Records, finds Deetron in a unique, transitional phase. The vocal element of his music coming to the fore, with his new album he proves that there is no substitute for substance and skill, putting music firmly back in the frame is the message, and how poignant to today’s tumultuous industry!

For the first single Deetron calls on the beautifully smooth vocal talents of Ben Westbeech which produces the perfect melody-drenched house track.

Since his last studio album in 2009 Baltimore native DJ Karizma has been constantly touring the globe bringing his inimitable DJ sets to the people of Earth. Having finally got the urge to go back into the studio sometime last year, Karizma locked himself away for six weeks as he got into his most creatively prolific spell for years. R2 Records are proud to announce the result of this endeavour – “Wall Of Sound”.

Having submitted 43 tracks for this album, (we couldn’t get him to stop making new tracks!) we finally honed, pruned and arranged the material into 3 varying formats: Double CD, Double Vinyl and Bonus Digital Album.

Karizma has once again pushed himself beyond the limits of his previous work, evolving his trademark club bangers and down-tempo beats as well as adding a variety of new and sometimes impossible to categorise music to his armoury, emotional content being the unifying factor.

Karizma has also called on some of dance music heavyweights to collaborate on the album including the mighty Osunlade (Yoruba Records), Rokaz (Neil Pierce & Ziggy Funk), and rising UK talent Sean McCabe.

Here’s a little taster selection…

1. Mama
2. Rimaniss
3. Just A Thing
4. Deeper Than You Know
5. Hear & Now feat. Osunlade
6. Ya Dig
7. Kellah
8. Naycha
9. A Set Purpose

Album released on 2 x CD & 2 x LP on 2nd September 2013.
